Shannon Belardi’s works on paper compose repetitive marks within varied grid formats. Her meticulous practice of mark-making is often a meditation on a specific place in a specific moment in time. Belardi utilizes her own language of abstraction to explore intimate motifs with delicate control and restraint.


Shannon Belardi was born in Santa Cruz, CA in 1993. She earned her BFA from San Jose State University in 2015. She has been included in group shows at Chandler Gallery in Mill Valley, CA, Seager Gray Gallery in Mill Valley, CA and Richmond Art Center in Richmond, CA. She held a printmaking residency at KALA in Berkeley, CA in 2018. She currently lives and works in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
