Stella Kudritzki

Based in San Francisco, Stella Kudritzki explores themes of memory, intimacy, and transformation through black and white film. Raised in a woman-led household along the coast of West Marin, her practice centers her younger sisters and female relationships within the context of a vast and emotional landscape. 

Stella extends her practice by working with family archives and piecing together moments that resemble her own. She also enjoys the rawness of documentary photography and the collaboration of editorial work. 

She holds a BFA in Photography from California College of the Arts and has exhibited in group shows across the Bay Area.
